DIY Pilgrim Bread Baskets!

So I was galavanting around the inside of “Hobby Lobby” the other day, ooogling all of their fine crafting supplies, when I stumbled upon these ADORABLE LITTLE BASKETS! And I got to thinking about how “Pilgrim-y” they would look on our table during Thanksgiving dinner! Hence, my project was born: DIY Pilgrim Bread Baskets! I hope that you enjoy!

 

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

Two (2) plain handled baskets (“apple-picking baskets,” as I call them)

Two (2) textured, tan-colored cloths

Two (2) dark brown cloth napkins or bandanas

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Purchase two (2) of these baskets.

2. Purchase two (2) tan-colored textured cloths and two (2) brown cloth napkins or brown-colored bandanas (I found all of my pieces of fabric in the bandana aisle of “Hobby Lobby” – there’s a whole aisle dedicated to this stuff!)!

3. Fold your cloths in half and layer them inside of your baskets!

VOILA! A festive bread basket for your holiday tablespread!!!
